Car Care Council, Maximum Marketing Services Receive Three Gold Level NAPS Awards

Bethesda, MDThe Car Care Council and Maximum Marketing Services, Inc. received three gold level awards from the North American Precis Syndicate, Inc. (NAPS) for the “Be Car Care Aware” campaign. These top national media awards recognize consumer feature articles and broadcast stories that have generated an extraordinarily high volume of placements by America’s editors and producers.

“The ‘Be Car Care Aware’ campaign has a solid record of excellence and, once again, the council and its agency have been recognized with top honors for their public relations efforts,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “The award-winning print and radio feature stories are informative consumer-oriented pieces specifically created to help motorists make informed decisions when it comes to vehicle maintenance.”

Earning gold level awards were two print “Be Car Care Aware” feature articles and one radio story. The print articles entitled “The Perils of Potholes”and “The Three R’s for Cars: Reuse, Reduce, Repower”generated 856 and 1068 placements, respectively. The radio feature, “Winterizing Your Vehicle Can Save Cold Cash,”aired 810 times. On average, features distributed by NAPS result in 100 to 400 placements, with 400 rarely achieved.

“We are very proud to accept these three prestigious awards as they are a testament to the fact that the Car Care Council is providing relevant information that editors and producers feel should be shared with their audiences,” White said.

The Car Care Council is the source of information for the “Be Car Care Aware” consumer education campaign promoting the benefits of regular vehicle care, maintenance and repair to consumers. Public Relations Society of America Honors Maximum Marketing Services and Car Care Council with
Award of Excellence

John “Max” McGowan Celebrates 35 Years in the Aftermarket
